The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment such as hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks accurately and safely. • Position and organize containers within the intermodal yard. • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety. • Coordinate container moves and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established procedures. What You'll Need • A valid driver’s license is required. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Open availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays. • Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail. • Basic communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs on railcars.
