Ayan Infotech are urgently looking for a ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a long term contract job opportunity in Melbourne.

Title: ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Location: Melbourne

Type: Contract (6-12 months+)

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10 or more years of experience in ServiceNow design and hands-on developments projects (this is ServiceNow Technical specialist role and NOT an e2e Architect role).
• Knowledge in ServiceNow best practice and methodology (NowCreate, Business Smart customisation, Heath Scan, ATF)
• Past hands-on individual contribution experience in enterprise environment:
  • Code and scripts development from design, build, test and deploy for production use, covering ITSM, CSM and CMDB and integration using scripted REST API, and connectors.
  • ServiceNow platform upgrades
  • ServiceNow Platform performance troubleshooting, tuning, and sizing
• Understand good vs bad configurations, coding, and customisation practices.
• Management of stakeholders (business, architects, engineers) and ability to drive right outcome from them.
• Positive work attitude and one-team mindset.
• ServiceNow technical consultations for Architects, BA, BCL, and Service+ program.
• ServiceNow Out-of-the-Box vs Customisation Assessment (Impact to Maintainability & Upgradability).
• Peer review and feedback for Architecture Solution Context and Epic acceptance-criteria.
• Lead DSO pre-PI planning for business epics, including impact assessment and bottom-up estimation.
• Support DSO manager in planning tech debt and Innovation epics.
• ServiceNow design governance, review, and acceptance during implementation.
• Support with tech directions for Dev teams in resolving issues during build/test.
