Job Title: Grant Manager (Hybrid)
Location: Hybrid (1 day onsite, 4 days remote per week)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week
Job Summary
We are seeking a Grant Manager to oversee the full grant lifecycle, from application development through award management and closeout. The ideal candidate will coordinate grant activities, monitor budgets, ensure compliance with requirements, and work closely with internal teams and funding agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage grant applications from planning through submission, ensuring deadlines and federal requirements are met.
- Coordinate post-award activities, including startup planning, budget setup, and compliance tracking.
- Monitor grant budgets, expenditures, and financial reports to ensure spending aligns with approved funding.
- Prepare and submit required programmatic and financial reports on time.
- Lead grant closeout activities, including final reporting and audit documentation.
- Collaborate with program, finance, procurement, contracts, and leadership teams to support grant operations.
- Maintain grant documentation, track action items, and communicate project status, risks, and milestones.
- Provide administrative support, prepare meeting materials, and respond to audit or oversight requests.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in grant management, grant administration, budgeting, accounting, or contract management.
- Knowledge of federal grant requirements, reporting, and compliance.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including budget tracking and financial analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing and submitting grant applications.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
