# Quality Engineer<br />**Gloucester | £40,000 – £45,000 | Permanent**<br />An established and rapidly expanding advanced manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to join its team in Gloucester.<br />The company is investing significantly in its manufacturing capabilities and supplies technically demanding sectors including aerospace, defence and automotive.<br />This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Quality Engineer who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes and working closely with manufacturing teams.<br />**The Role:**<br />- Managing non-conformances, root cause investigations and corrective actions.- Supporting ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems.- Conducting internal audits and supporting external audits.- Preparing and reviewing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and ISIR documentation.- Using quality tools including 8D, 5 Why, FMEA and SPC.- Working with production and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing quality issues.- Supporting supplier quality and continuous improvement activities.<br />**The Candidate:**<br />- Previous experience as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment.- Good working knowledge of ISO 9001.- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.- A practical approach to resolving quality issues on the shop floor.<br />Experience within aerospace, automotive, composites or precision engineering would be advantageous, although not essential.<br />This is an opportunity to join a growing business where you'll have the chance to influence quality processes and contribute to ongoing manufacturing improvements.<br />**Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience.**<br />To apply, please submit your CV to M-Tec Engineering Solutions.
