Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Performance Management Engineer to support customer migrations from third-party performance monitoring platforms to our performance management solutions. The role requires strong z/OS expertise, migration experience, troubleshooting skills, and customer-facing technical consulting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support migration projects from competing mainframe performance monitoring tools to company solutions.
• Review customer z/OS environments, understand existing monitoring setups, and determine migration scope, effort, and technical requirements.
• Develop migration estimates, implementation approaches, and project plans based on customer environments.
• Install, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot performance management solutions across IBM z/OS systems.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during implementation, testing, and migration activities.
• Prepare migration documentation, technical procedures, and implementation guides.
• Work closely with customers, project managers, architects, and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical guidance, participate in customer discussions, and support successful transition to the new performance management platform.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with IBM z/OS and mainframe performance management.
• Hands-on experience with performance monitoring tools and migrations.
• Good understanding of installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance analysis in mainframe environments.
• Strong communication, documentation, estimation, and customer-facing consulting skills.
