NASCO Claims Systems Analyst - Detroit, MI

Job Responsibilities

Engagement Description –
Resource needed to support teams with project funded work with focus on new groups, new segments and large corporate projects.
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience –
• Experience in NASCO 3270 mainframe including preparing/executing test claims for all lines of business
• Strong professional and facility medical claims background
• Ability to understand/interpret business documents and develop requirements for new/existing products
Required Skills/Experience – The rest of the required skills/experience. Include:
• Knowledge of Medical, Benefit and Payment Policy
• Microsoft office skills
• Working knowledge of SharePoint
• Self-disciplined with the flexibility to effectively manage multiple roles and responsibilities
• Detailed understanding and experience of NASCO Classic group benefits and claims processing
• Ability to work effectively with multiple internal/external customers at all levels
Preferred Skills/Experience – Optional but preferred skills/experience. Include:
• Self-starter with the ability to read/interpret Benefit File code, GENO tables, Procedure & Diagnosis Files
• Experience with queries
• Experience with macros
• Experience in CSR creation, updates & development
Education/Certifications – Include:
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• 3 years of relevant technical or business work experience required.
