Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer Sr. – IT Production Support with 7+ years of experience supporting mission-critical production applications in a healthcare claims processing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mainframe production support, batch processing, EDI 837/835 transactions, Oracle SQL, and incident management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and support production environments using Mainframe (COBOL, JCL, CA7), Jenkins, and Dynatrace.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, resolve job failures (abends), and ensure successful batch processing.
  • Analyze EDI 837/835 healthcare claims and XML files, investigate claim processing errors, and maintain data integrity.
  • Write complex Oracle SQL queries for production support, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
  • Manage incidents through their full lifecycle, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and operational documentation while driving continuous process improvements.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7+ years of IT Production/Application Support experience.
  • Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, CA7, and batch job scheduling.
  • Hands-on experience with EDI 837/835 healthcare claims processing.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL and database troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Dynatrace, Jenkins, Prometheus, Python/Groovy, and incident management tools such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, or SharePoint.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
