Director of IT Infrastructure

This role is positioned within a dynamic technology organization seeking a Director of Infrastructure to lead the modernization of its enterprise technology foundation. The successful candidate will oversee global infrastructure services, including core networking, cloud environments, and end-user support, while collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and architects. This strategic position not only drives operational excellence but also focuses on aligning technology investments with business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the strategic direction and operational excellence of global infrastructure services, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Manage the financial health of the infrastructure department, including annual budgeting, capital expenditure forecasting, and operational expense optimization.
• Lead a diverse team of network engineers, cloud architects, and support professionals to enhance service delivery and user satisfaction.
• Implement and maintain modern networking protocols and enterprise security measures to protect the organization''s infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3-5 years in a dedicated infrastructure leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure environments.
• Deep understanding of modern networking protocols, SD-WAN, wireless architectures, and enterprise security perimeter tools.
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-million dollar capital expenditure and operational expenditure budgets.
