Refrigeration engineer

Are you an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer looking for your next opportunity? We're looking for a skilled, motivated and customer-focused engineer to join our team, carrying out maintenance, servicing and repairs on retail refrigeration systems across Sunbury, Bristol, Reading and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in retail refrigeration who enjoys working independently, solving problems and delivering outstanding service to customers.

?? The Role

As a Mobile Retail Commercial Refrigeration Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial refrigeration equipment.

• Diagnosing faults and completing reactive breakdown repairs.

• Working on retail refrigeration systems, including cabinets, display fridges, freezers and cold rooms.

• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

• Completing service reports, job sheets and compliance documentation.

• Building positive relationships with customers and site managers.

• Managing your workload effectively while travelling between customer sites.

? What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in commercial refrigeration engineering, ideally within the retail sector.

• Relevant refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications.

• F-Gas qualification (essential).

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

• A full UK driving licence.

• A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

• The ability to work independently and participate in an on-call rota, where required.
