Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Plano, TX (Only Local candidates who can come for in person interview )
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Key Focus Area :: We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a large banking client. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines while working closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams. This role requires hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and previous software development experience.

Must Haves:

  • 5 8 years of hands-on DevOps experience.
  
  
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and pipeline automation.
  
  
  • Hands-on experience with Harness (Required).
  
  
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions (Required).
  
  
  • Experience with Jenkins and Bitbucket.
  
  
  • Previous development experience with Java/J2EE or .NET.
  
  
  • Strong PowerShell scripting experience.
  
  
  • Experience working with databases.
  
  
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  
  
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  
  
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience supporting a banking or financial services client.


• Experience with the Horizon toolset.


• Knowledge of React or Angular.


• Experience migrating CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins/Bitbucket to GitHub Actions and Harness.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.


• Automate application build, deployment, and release processes.


• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.


• Support migration to GitHub Actions and Harness.


• Troubleshoot deployment and production issues.


• Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical discussions.


• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Hourly Rate: 60$-65$ per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
