The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers within an intermodal yard. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks, ensuring accurate and timely freight movement. • Drive hostlers to efficiently position containers and chassis. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics tasks. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established safety protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is required. • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Maintain open availability, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team. • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background verification, physical, and drug screening.
