This is an opportunity to join a dynamic technology team focused on transforming critical trading platforms. **The Role** • Lead the end-to-end architecture for the Endur (Openlink) energy trading platform. • Partner with traders, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver robust and business-aligned solutions. • Modernise trading technology using contemporary design patterns and cloud-native principles. • Provide architectural leadership across internal teams and vendor partners throughout the delivery lifecycle. • Shape trading capabilities across front-, middle-, and back-office workflows, ensuring seamless integration from deal capture to reporting. • Define integration patterns with surrounding systems such as market data, scheduling, risk, and data platforms. **What You'll Need** • Significant hands-on Endur (Openlink) experience in a production energy trading environment. • Strong experience in physical Gas and/or Power trading lifecycle processes. • Proven track record leading architecture on complex trading programmes, including governance and stakeholder management. • Strong understanding of non-functional requirements for trading platforms: performance, resiliency, security, and auditability. • Experience with modern architecture patterns: microservices, event-driven design, and API strategy. • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams. **What's On Offer** • Influence one of the company's most critical trading platforms and shape technology for real-time decision-making. • Work closely with traders and market experts to deliver high-impact capabilities. • Balance modern architecture with the realities of live trading operations. • Opportunity to drive architectural consistency and reinforce Agile/DevOps practices.
