Role Overview


We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy, fundraising, project structuring, compliance, and long-term capital planning for our Integrated Agro Industrial Carbon Negative Park.


The CFO will play a critical leadership role in structuring a multi-billion-rupee sustainable infrastructure and agro-industrial ecosystem while ensuring strong governance, ESG compliance, investor confidence, and scalable growth.


Role & responsibilities


Key Responsibilities


1. Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Develop and execute the overall financial strategy for the group
  • Build long-term financial models for integrated agro-industrial operations
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and capital allocation
  • Drive profitability, sustainability, and financial discipline


2. Fund Raising & Capital Structuring

Lead fundraising initiatives for large-scale infrastructure and agro-industrial projects through:

  • Banks & Financial Institutions
  • Private Equity / Venture Capital
  • ESG & Green Funds
  • Green Bonds / ESG Bonds
  • Secured NCDs
  • Multilateral Institutions (IFC, ADB, etc.)
  • Sovereign Wealth Funds (ADIA, Mubadala, etc.)
  • Strategic Foreign Investors
  • Government-backed funding schemes

Structure hybrid financing models targeting large-scale project development.


3. Project Finance & Infrastructure Development

  • Lead financial structuring of the Integrated Agro Industrial Park
  • Evaluate CAPEX, OPEX, IRR, ROI, and project viability
  • Support DPR preparation and feasibility studies
  • Coordinate with consultants, banks, and technical advisors
  • Support SEZ, industrial park, and infrastructure-related approvals


4. Government Incentives & Subsidy Management

  • Identify and structure central/state government incentives
  • Manage subsidy claims and compliance
  • Explore benefits including:
  • Interest subvention
  • GST reimbursement
  • Stamp duty reimbursement
  • Electricity duty exemptions
  • Income tax benefits
  • Export incentives
  • Agriculture & renewable energy schemes

5. ESG, Sustainability & Carbon Finance

  • Develop ESG-compliant financial systems
  • Build carbon credit monetization and carbon trading frameworks
  • Support carbon-negative and zero-waste business models
  • Coordinate sustainability reporting and ESG disclosures


6. Investor Relations & Governance

  • Build strong relationships with investors, lenders, and strategic partners
  • Lead investor presentations and board reporting
  • Establish world-class governance and compliance systems
  • Ensure statutory, legal, tax, and financial compliance


7. International Expansion & Export Strategy

  • Support international business expansion
  • Evaluate global funding and investment opportunities
  • Structure international partnerships and JV models


Preferred candidate profile



Education

  • CA / MBA Finance / CFA or equivalent qualification
  • Additional qualifications in Project Finance or Infrastructure Finance preferred


Experience

  • 12-20+ years of experience in finance leadership roles
  • Experience in infrastructure, agro-processing, renewable energy, manufacturing, ESG, or large industrial projects preferred
  • Strong exposure to project finance and large-scale fund raising
  • Experience handling institutional investors and banks
  • Understanding of government incentives and subsidy structures
