The Role • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting and assisting shoppers effectively. • Accurately process customer transactions using a cash register, handle payments, make change, and bag merchandise. • Follow established procedures for receiving, unpacking, stocking, and rotating merchandise to maintain store appearance and availability. • Maintain store cleanliness, including dusting, mopping, trash removal, and restroom upkeep. • Implement and maintain planogram displays and merchandising guidelines. • Perform duties of a Sales Associate and act in a lead capacity during the absence of management. What You'll Need • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills. • Understanding of safety policies and practices. • Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides. • Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and cash register operations. • Knowledge of cash handling and store control policies. • High school diploma or equivalent; previous supervisory experience preferred.
