Working Style:Hybrid, the successful candidate will be expected to attend an office on average twice a week based on client demand in London or Bristol.
The Senior Project Manager role is vital in supporting our clients in delivering against their strategic objectives and helping meet the needs of their customers and supporters.
This role is focused on delivering delegated projects within our client portfolio of digital projects, support programs and partnership frameworks. Youll play a key role in ensuring we provide successful, impactful project work for our clients within the digital experience and transformation realms.
Working closely with a dedicated team of client services, strategists, designers and developers, the role is responsible for project management excellence throughout the entire project lifecycle. In return, the role works with various exciting clients within the charity, healthcare, higher education, and culture sectors.
The Senior Project Manager uses skills, knowledge, and experience to manage projects of greater complexity and challenge. It will also use the passion for craft and knowledge of different delivery methodologies to help set and maintain delivery standards across our division, mentor junior team members, and share your knowledge with our clients.
The complexity or breadth of projects, products or teams will vary in this role, depending on the context.
Project and programme management can be applied to a wide variety of change and transformation projects. The differences and skills often lie in the complexity (requirements, stakeholders, timelines, dependencies), budget size, and whether the project is part of our core offering or an extension of our work.
A senior project management role is expected to involve medium-high value, medium-high complexity change initiatives, and it will be performed by experienced and trained project managers.
Billable at 80%
Responsibilities
- Ensuring delegated projects achieve agreed success KPIs, including but not limited to budget, time, scope, quality and client satisfaction
- Taking ownership for escalation and resolution of all risks and issues that may affect meeting project/progress success KPIs
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and reporting
- Flagging any opportunities to the right people where they might be an opportunity to grow or deepen a relationship
- Following agreed ways of working and behaviours as described by your SLT
- Owning your part in building an effective working relationships with all colleagues, stakeholders and clients
- Working across either portfolio delegated to either the Programme Director or Head of Project Manager (if running projects in the Programme Directors portfolio, you will also have a dotted line into the Programme Director)
- Running Overseeing the day-to-day to day project and programme management delegated projects and programmes using agreed methodologies, approaches and frameworks
- Being mindful of the commercial underpinning of the business and your direct contribution to meeting in-month revenue forecasts
- Proactively managing project overburns, ensuring stability to project profit forecast
- Develop a deep understanding of key client organisations and identify opportunitiesto improve the experience for clients customers and supporters; support fostering excellent client relationships through on-site meetings
- Making active contributions to governance and reporting forums

Essential criteria
- Agency experience
- Passionate about creating the right environment so that we can deliver the best outcomes for our client
- Substantial hands-on project management experience delivering several digital experience initiatives
- A solid understanding of Agile delivery, with experienced knowledge of the Scrum framework and a solid basis for project governance and control
- Comfortable with technical aspects of digital experience delivery and demonstrable experience across various digital experience projects such as UX, content management systems, website development, applications and integrations
- Comfortable working with ambiguity, able to use your stakeholder and delivery skills to bring shape and clarity to project plans and outcomes
- Able to work autonomously with little or no supervision
- Resilient, able to juggle a large number of priorities
- Able to work effectively across multiple projects and competing deadlines
- Excellent relationship management, stakeholder engagement, organisation, and facilitation skills
- Excellent organisation, and attention to detail

Technical skills
- Experienced Senior Project Manager specialising in digital experience and transformation projects within agency environments.
- Skilled in Agile delivery, particularly Scrum, with a strong foundation in project governance and control.
- Proven ability to manage medium to high-complexity initiatives, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholder needs with resilience and autonomy.
- Adept at technical coordination across UX, CMS, website development, and integrations. Committed to driving project success through meticulous risk management, commercial awareness, and fostering strong client and team relationships.
- Passionate about continuous improvement, mentoring junior colleagues, and contributing to business growth through new business support and thought leadership
