Java Developer – Delta Dental

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with a strong background in building scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing microservices, RESTful APIs, and working with relational databases in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development
• Strong experience with Java 8/11/17
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices
• Experience developing RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of Hibernate/JPA
• Experience with SQL and databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Experience with Git, Maven, and Gradle
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging platforms
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure) is a plus

Eligibility

• Minimum 7+ years of experience is mandatory
• No OPT

• GC-EAD, -EAD, L2-EAD, and TN candidates are preferred.
• Must be able to work on W2.
