Search Engineer

We are seeking an experienced SOLR/Fusion Search Engineer with strong expertise in Apache Solr, Lucidworks Fusion, Linux scripting, and Python to join a high-performing technology team supporting enterprise search platforms within the financial services industry.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Solr and Lucidworks Fusion.
• Experience working with Linux environments and Shell scripting.
• Strong programming experience with Python.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise search platforms.
• Experience with Solr Cloud architecture and cluster administration.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working within the Financial Services domain.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Elasticsearch architecture and cluster management.
• Knowledge of query DSL, shard management, and search optimization.
• Experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing and analytics.
