Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer - Building services

Location: London

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Working Pattern: Hybrid

We’re working with a growing MEP consultancy in London who are looking to bring on board a Intermediate Mechanical Engineer .

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a smaller, specialist consultancy, with plenty of exposure to senior engineers and Directors from day one.

The Role

You’ll be involved in a variety of projects across sectors including:

• Commercial
• Student accommodation
• Education
• Health
• Real estate

You’ll be working across RIBA Stages 2–4 , supporting the delivery of mechanical building services designs while developing your technical and consultancy skills.

The role will also give you exposure to:

• Mechanical design and calculations
• Technical documentation and specifications
• Client and project meetings
• Design development and project delivery
• Wider consultancy and commercial considerations
• Working alongside other engineering disciplines

What They're Looking For

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience within a building services consultancy
• Junior to Intermediate-level Mechanical Engineering experience
• A good understanding of mechanical building services design
• Experience working across RIBA stages
• A genuine interest in developing technically
• Good communication skills and the confidence to take ownership of your work
• A proactive and curious approach to engineering
