Job Description

Job Title  : ServiceNow GRC Sr Developer

Location : Dallas, TX – Remote

 

A ServiceNow GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Developer designs and configures Integrated Risk Management (IRM) modules. They build workflows for policy, risk, and audit management to help organizations mitigate operational risks and track regulatory adherence. This role requires strong scripting abilities and deep platform knowledge. [, , , , ]

 

  • Active CSA, CIS (GRC\IRM)  is mandatory

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Module Configuration: Implement and configure core ServiceNow GRC/IRM modules including Policy & Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management, and Vendor Risk Management. [, ]
  • Platform Development: Design customized forms, business rules, script includes, UI policies, and flow designers using JavaScript. [, , ]
  • Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server. [, ]
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather business requirements from legal, compliance, and IT security teams to translate them into technical solutions. [, ]
  • Testing & Support: Create automated test frameworks, perform unit testing, and provide ongoing maintenance for deployed GRC applications. [, , ]

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of overall ServiceNow experience, with at least 2–3 years dedicated specifically to the GRC/IRM suite.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide, Jelly), Service Portal, and UI Builder.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications include Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist - Risk and Compliance, or CIS-IRM.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of risk frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST), control testing, and regulatory compliance
