Fosterplus Panel Administrator - Maternity Cover Location

Remote Contract

Full Time, Fixed-Term (6 months) Hours

35 hours per week, Monday - Friday Salary

About the Role We are looking for an organised and professional Panel Administrator to join our fostering services to provide maternity cover. This role supports the smooth operation of fostering panels across Fosterplus and Clifford House Fostering. Working remotely, you will coordinate panel activity and manage complex administrative processes while supporting safeguarding standards and ensuring fostering decisions are underpinned by accurate and timely documentation. We're looking for someone who can work effectively in a busy environment and brings exceptional attention to detail.

Role Responsibilities As the Panel Administrator, you will provide administrative support to our fostering panels, ensuring meetings are effectively organised and managed.

Key responsibilities include: Coordinating fostering panel meetings and schedules Managing panel member attendance and ensuring panel quoracy Preparing, checking and distributing panel papers Producing timely and accurate minutes and records of panel discussions and recommendations Maintaining confidential records and electronic databases Liaising with social workers, Foster Parents, applicants, managers and independent panel members Monitoring documentation to ensure compliance with required standards and timescales Supporting the Panel Adviser and wider service with administrative and governance processes About You We're looking for someone who is: Highly organised with excellent administrative skills Experienced in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines Confident in producing timely, professional minutes, reports and correspondence Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams Highly attentive to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality Experience We're Looking For Essential Experience supporting panels, committees, boards or senior management teams Experience organising meetings and managing agendas Experience taking formal minutes and maintaining accurate records Experience handling confidential information Desirable Experience within fostering, adoption, children's social care or safeguarding services Understanding of fostering regulations, National Minimum Standards and panel processes Experience working with professionals across multiple agencies Relevant administration qualifications or professional minute-taking training Fosterplus is an equal opportunities employer.
