Desktop & Mac Jamf Engineer

Introduction:

The Desktop & Mac Jamf Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the desktop and Mac environments within the organization. This role will involve deploying and managing Mac devices using Jamf, as well as providing support for Windows desktop platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop management, including experience with Jamf and Mac deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage Mac devices using Jamf, including environment configuration, device enrollment, policy execution, application deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Build, maintain, and administer Windows desktop platforms.
• Optimize performance of desktops and user experience.
• Utilize Microsoft Modern workspace management capabilities such as Intune, Auto Pilot, SCCM, Imaging, Task sequence, and PowerShell scripting.
• Configure and manage Jamf environments, including policies, configuration profiles, device groups, application packages, and compliance settings.
• Provide remote support coverage for end-user computing (EUC) issues.
• Install and swap devices at customer locations.
• Manage asset and stock inventory in the organization.
• Document procedures for assisting end users in data restoration.
• Provide instructions and usage assistance to end users with supported devices and software.

• Experience with Mac deployment using Jamf.
• Proficient in optimizing desktop performance.
• Experience with Microsoft Modern workspace management capabilities.
