Application Developer - Financial Services or Legal Industry - East Coast Hours - Direct Only

Our client is seeking an Application Developer with experience in enterprise financial services or legal environments.  This role with design, develop, and enhance cloud-native enterprise applications using .NET 10, React, and Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate with architects, business analysts, and product owners to refine requirements, build new features and secure APIs, participate in code reviews, and troubleshooting complex application issues. Developers also write automated tests, support CI/CD deployments, monitor application performance using observability tools, and contribute to application modernization initiatives. The Application Developer will leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture and Agile best practices.

Requirements:

·         5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications, preferably in financial services or legal industry environments

·         Cloud-Native Full-Stack Development – Strong expertise building enterprise applications with .NET 10, React, Azure PaaS, and Microsoft SQL Server.

·         Modern API & Distributed Systems Development – Experience designing and developing REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and secure integrations using modern architectural patterns

·         Azure DevOps & Application Modernization – Proven ability to modernize legacy applications, build containerized cloud solutions, and deliver software using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Azure DevOps.

·         Microsoft Development: .NET 10 LTS, ASP.NET Core, Minimal APIs, C#, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git

·         Front-End: React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Redux

·         Cloud & Azure: Azure App Services, Azure Container Apps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault

·         APIs & Architecture: REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT Authentication, Microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, Event-Driven Architecture

·         DevOps & AI: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Terraform/Bicep, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Agent Framework, ML.NET, GitHub Copilot

Nice to Have’s:

·       Experience with AI Integration & Intelligent Applications such as Azure OpenAI, LLMs,Microsoft.Extensions.AI, GitHub Copilot, and AI-powered application development.

·        Background developing applications in highly regulated financial services or legal environments.

·       Experience with Advanced Architecture Patterns such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, Azure Service BKafka, observability (OpenTelemetry/Application Insights), and high-availability enterprise systems.
