Business Development Executive

Job Description
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for growing distribution, volume, profitability, and brand presence across your customer territory. This is a field-based role where you'll manage existing contracted customers while identifying new opportunities to grow our non-alcohol portfolio across Away From Home and Petrol & Convenience channels.
This territory is well established, with strong customer relationships already in place, offering a great platform for someone who enjoys autonomy and ownership.
Key Accountabilities- Manage and grow a defined customer territory across Away From Home and Petrol & Convenience channels
- Deliver sales targets through effective execution of promotional activity, pricing, and trading terms
- Identify and onboard new business opportunities within the territory
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding individual business needs
- Maintain effective call coverage and frequency, averaging around 15 calls per day
- Use CRM tools to maintain accurate customer data and activity reporting
- Collaborate closely with your Field Sales Manager and wider team to deliver against business priorities
- Experience in grocery, Petrol & Convenience, or FMCG environments is highly regarded
- Sales experience is advantageous but not essential - transferable backgrounds are welcome
- Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a large territory
- Strong communication skills with a personable and professional customer approach
- Commercially curious with the ability to understand and work with sales data
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and be developed
- Travel is primarily day-based with no regular overnight stays required.
