The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks, ensuring accurate and safe handling. • Inspect equipment before and after use to maintain operational safety and compliance. • Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics tasks. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures. • Drive hostler vehicles to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is required for this role. • Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Strong commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail. • Basic communication and teamwork skills. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
