Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and people-centric HRIS & Payroll Implementation Specialist to lead the successful deployment of our new Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless implementation that enhances the employee experience, streamlines people and culture operations, and supports our strategic people agenda. This is a 6 month full-time fixed-term contract, and you will act as the bridge between People & Culture, IT, and external vendors, managing the project lifecycle from discovery through to post implementation support. Your expertise in project management and passion for user experience will ensure the system is intuitive, efficient, and aligned with our culture and values.

Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle HRIS implementations from planning to go live, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT to define system requirements and streamline workflows.
  • Configure HRIS platforms to align with business needs, maintaining data integrity and compliance.
  • Oversee data migration, system integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Drive a user centric approach to enhance the employee experience through intuitive systems.
  • Create and deliver impactful training and communication materials.
  • Support organisational change by promoting system adoption and engagement.
  • Monitor system performance post implementation and address user feedback.
  • Provide ongoing support and partner with People & Culture teams for continuous improvement.
Essential Experience, Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience in HRIS implementation.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.
  • Deep understanding of P&C processes and data management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Passion for improving employee experience through technology and process design.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR).
  • Team player who is also comfortable working independently and picking up tasks with minimal supervision.
Desirable Experience, Qualifications & Skills
  • Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile).
  • Experience in change management and user adoption strategies.
