We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with AI experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks while leveraging AI/Generative AI technologies to improve testing efficiency, test coverage, defect analysis, and quality engineering processes.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in UI, API, and backend automation testing, along with exposure to AI-assisted testing, Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-powered automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks.
• Develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Perform UI, API, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Build and maintain API automation using REST Assured, Postman, or similar frameworks.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Use AI and Generative AI technologies to improve test automation and quality engineering processes.
• Leverage LLMs for:
  • Test case generation
  • Test data generation
  • Test script generation
  • Requirement analysis
  • Defect analysis
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • Test optimization
• Develop AI-assisted solutions for intelligent test automation.
• Work with Prompt Engineering to generate and validate test scenarios.
• Integrate AI/LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Claude, or Gemini into QA workflows where applicable.
• Identify flaky tests and improve automation reliability.
• Analyze test results, logs, and failures to identify defects.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and work closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams.
• Maintain automation standards, documentation, and best practices.
• Mentor junior QA Automation Engineers when required.

Required Technical Skills

Automation Testing

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with one or more:
  • Selenium WebDriver
  • Playwright
  • Cypress
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
• Experience developing automation frameworks such as:
  • TestNG
  • JUnit
  • PyTest
  • Cucumber / BDD
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Functional Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • End-to-End Testing
  • Smoke Testing

API & Backend Testing

• Hands-on experience with API testing.
• Experience using:
  • REST Assured
  • Postman
  • SoapUI
• Strong understanding of:
  • REST APIs
  • JSON
  • XML
  • HTTP methods and status codes
• Experience validating backend data using SQL.
• Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

AI / Generative AI Experience

• Experience or strong exposure to AI-assisted software testing.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with Prompt Engineering for generating test cases and automation scenarios.
• Exposure to AI coding and productivity tools such as:
  • GitHub Copilot
  • OpenAI
  • Claude
  • Gemini
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into test automation workflows.
• Knowledge of using LLMs for:
  • Automated test generation
  • Test case optimization
  • Self-healing automation
  • Defect classification
  • Log analysis
  • RCA assistance
• Experience with RAG or AI Agents is a plus.
