Junior Applications Developer

This is a great opportunity for a Junior Applications Developer to work and learn from a company with a reputation of providing high quality software and outstanding customer service. The role interacts primarily with internal colleagues and it is important to find a developer who can demonstrate a real attention to detail and quality.<br />We envisage that the role will develop according to the skills of the successful candidate, with plenty of opportunities for training and learning new skills.<br />Please note this role is based in Central Newbury (not far from the rail station), is 5 days a week in the office and free parking is not provided.<br />Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Confident amiable individual with a keen interest in IT and technology.
• Coding experience - ideally using Java and/or SQL
• Educated to at least ‘A’ level or equivalent, with excellent Maths and English skills (both verbal and written).
• A high level of reading and comprehension skills.
• Flexibility - as the need to adapt to changing priorities is key.
• The ability to learn new systems quickly and to demonstrate an understanding of the application.
• High level of organisation, logical and precise thinking, involving accuracy and attention to detail.<br />Ideally you will also have the following:.
