Senior & Mid Sys Admin - Windows/Linux, ITIL Lead Canberra

Aurec and Chalfont are seeking Windows and Linux systems administrators from strong operational hands through to a senior lead to keep secure, mission-critical infrastructure running on a major Australian Defence program in Canberra.

Roles

• System Administrator - Day-to-day operations, patching, identity and monitoring across Windows Server and Linux estates.
• Senior System Administrator / Lead - High-tier support, operational stability, disaster recovery and ITIL process ownership across the deployed solution.

What you'll bring

• Strong dual Windows Server and Linux administration
• Identity, patching, monitoring and hardening in a secure environment (e.g. Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with recognised security baselines and good operational discipline
• Senior candidates: incident / problem / change leadership, disaster recovery and ITIL v4 service management

Highly desirable

• Experience in Defence or the national-security sector
• A current NV2 Australian Government security clearance

Eligibility

• Australian citizenship is required (a prerequisite for an Australian Government security clearance).
