Systems Engineer Journeyman with Security Clearance

Description SAIC is currently looking for a Systems Engineer Journeyman to support our team located in Huntsville, AL. The Systems Engineer Journeyman will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities: * Ensure that engineering efforts follow the Department's Systems Engineering Lifecyle process.
* Work in a multifaceted team with many stakeholders (engineering, logistics and program leadership) in problem solving efforts for designated aspects of complex problems with many competing objectives, variables, and constraints.
* Assist with documenting solutions in relation to the technical, cost, and schedule constraints.
* Development and review of various technical documentation, including change management documentation, presentation materials, and white papers.
* Participate in and assist in activities for various segments of program execution, which may include Risk Management, Configuration Management, and Technical Reviews.
* Communicate with stakeholders across program offices and industry stakeholders Qualifications Required Education: * Bachelor's degree and two (2) years' experience Required Clearance: * Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required. Required Skills: * Understanding of IT risk management principles and industry standards. * Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies, vulnerability assessment tools, and security frameworks. * Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and provide practical solutions. * Effective communication skills to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Possess a collaborative attitude with the ability to work across different teams and departments Desired Skills: * Avionics experience either HW or SW
