This employer is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to contribute to a critical transportation network, ensuring the seamless operation of technology systems. The Role • Serve as the primary liaison between the main contract team, technology subcontractors, and stakeholders for a key London transport project. • Coordinate and oversee the technology workstream, ensuring integration with civil, electrical, mechanical, and SCADA elements. • Provide technical expertise for communications, control systems, monitoring systems, and networked infrastructure. • Review and validate technical submissions, designs, and commissioning documentation against required standards. • Support incident response and coordinate rapid restoration of system functionality during critical events. What You'll Need • Degree in a technology-focused engineering discipline or relevant highways and traffic technology experience. • Proven experience managing subcontractors, particularly in technology or systems integration. • Understanding of tunnel technologies, communications networks, and control systems. • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders. • Valid UK full driving licence and ability to travel to sites as required.
