Childbirth Educator

Childbirth Educator - Providence Ambulatory Services. This posting represents On-Call, Variable Schedule.

Under the direction of the Oregon Region Health Education Services, develops curriculum content requirements and instructs on various parenting topics and childbirth education topics.  Assures the use of appropriate educational technology and adult learning methodology to increase knowledge, skills, and competencies.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years related experience in the health care field and/or education experience with groups and individuals.
• Upon hire: ICEA or ASPO Lamaze certification for childbirth education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Courses related to the health sciences field or early childhood education.
