Job Description
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Secret Clearance can cage to TSSCI - Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant writing experience or a Master's degree and 6+ years of prior relevant experience, additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Experience formatting technical documents to include writing, editing, illustration, interpretations, and depth coverage with clear and concise messaging - Previous experience creating SOPs, user guides, technical documents, lessons learned, etc. - Experience working in an agile environment and participating in daily, weekly, and monthly scrum meetings NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience with the ServiceNow application
- Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certified. JOB DESCRIPTION
An employer is looking for a ServiceNow Technical Writer to sit at Fort Meade. This candidate will be a part of a ServiceNow implementation. The company is looking to transition three legacy systems into ServiceNow. They have already transitioned the telecommunication and CMDB module and now moving onto orders management. This candidate will be responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including operational reports, contract deliverables, and security incident reports. They will need to be able to write and edit technical documents for all the project’s solutions to include how-to documentation, process documentation and tasking orders. They also must be comfortable creating documentation for projects; produces implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities from scratch. Compensation:
$55/hr to $60/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
