This organization is at the forefront of innovation, combining advanced robotics, software, and full-stack manufacturing to significantly speed up and reduce the cost of producing critical components for rockets, satellites, jets, and ships. The Role • Develop novel 0-1 machining solutions to enhance factory throughput and capabilities. • Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) for high-risk, high-ROI parts, onboarding new customers and technologies. • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, contributing to product vision for software that boosts CAM programmer productivity. • Advise and consult on various factory aspects, including tooling, machine selection, workholding, and process engineering. What You'll Need • 5+ years of aerospace part programming experience. • Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including setup, tool loading, and offset management. • Broad machining knowledge across various machine types, materials, tooling applications, workholding, and fixture design. • Proven track record in process engineering for difficult parts with stringent requirements. • Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering print reading. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
