Project Manager- Pre Construction

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager - Pre-Construction to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality projects from inception through to site commencement.

The Role<br />Working closely with the commercial, design and operational teams, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are fully planned, coordinated and ready for successful delivery.

You will support project development from the pre-construction phase through to mobilisation, ensuring all health, safety, quality and programme requirements are in place.

Key responsibilities include:<br />·Working closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor to support financial reporting and project forecasting.<br />·Developing and managing project programmes and construction methodologies.<br />·Ensuring all health &amp; safety requirements, Construction Phase Plans and CDM obligations are in place prior to works commencing.<br />·Producing Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Safety Plans.<br />·Providing leadership, guidance and support to project teams.<br />·Managing labour resources and maintaining productivity targets.<br />·Coordinating the release of design information and materials.<br />·Managing subcontractors and supply chain partners effectively.<br />·Ensuring compliance with company quality procedures and standards.<br />·Driving quality throughout the project lifecycle and achieving snag-free handovers.

About You<br />To be successful in this role, you will have:<br />·Degree qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or a strong trade background within construction.<br />·Proven leadership and management experience within the construction or housebuilding sector.<br />·Experience managing projects from inception through to completion.<br />·Strong understanding of health &amp; safety legislation, CDM regulations and best practice.<br />·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.<br />·The ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and deliver projects to programme, budget and quality standards.
