Job Description

Sime Darby Fleet Services Pty Ltd Business Development Manager - NSW

Reporting to the Eastern Regional Manager, this role focuses on maintaining existing client relationships, pursuing new business, and achieving regional sales, profit, and market position targets.

Location and travel: the position can be based out of the Rydalmere branch with regular travel to Singleton, or vice versa.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a regional sales plan to meet short and long term objectives for sales, profit, and market position.
  • Identify and develop new business within the NSW region through prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing deals.
  • Manage client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle.
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback on market conditions, customer and project developments using the provided tools.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports as required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a business to business sales position.
  • Proven business development experience and sales results.
  • Experience working within the motor vehicle industry or an industrial services environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Commerce, Business, or related discipline advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Effective decision making and problem solving skills.
  • Advanced report writing skills.
  • High proficiency in the MS Office suite.
  • Licence to drive manual vehicles (C class) essential.
