Our client seeks a Senior iOS Software Engineer to build and enhance a large customer-facing native mobile application. The role focuses on Swift, SwiftUI, and iOS SDK development, CI/CD automation, code quality, and collaborative delivery within an agile team. You will lead knowledge transfer, demos, and problem solving while partnering with Android and backend teams to deliver secure, performant features.

Rate: $70.00 to $75.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy native iOS applications using Swift and the latest iOS SDK within a collaborative team.
• Leverage CI/CD automation and best practices to deliver quality mobile solutions.
• Evaluate, share, and implement iOS-native technologies to improve performance and usability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to large-scale mobile initiatives.
• Maintain documentation for system and programming changes.
• Share knowledge to elevate product quality and team capability.
• Apply iterative development with frequent deployments.
• Ensure adherence to design, coding, and cybersecurity standards.
• Support production through an on-call rotation.
• Participate in design and code walk-throughs.
• Partner with Android engineers for cross-platform alignment.
• Engage with backend teams for authentication and related integration activities.

Experience Requirements:

• Expert experience building native iOS apps with Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Deep knowledge of iOS frameworks and APIs.
• Strong understanding of MVC and MVVM patterns, background processing, and multithreading.
• Experience with Firebase/Crashlytics or similar crash analytics tools.
• Familiarity with Git branching strategies and release management.
• Experience writing and organizing unit tests for UI and functionality.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Preferred: Leadership with SDLC practices.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Okta, Dynatrace, and proper use of AI in mobile development.
• Preferred: Experience with Jira in Scrum or Kanban environments.
• Preferred: Exposure to code scanning tools such as SonarQube and Checkmarx.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
