LEAD BUSINESS ANALYST

We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst with strong expertise in enterprise technology transformation, infrastructure modernization, stakeholder management, and end-to-end project delivery. The successful candidate will bridge business and technology teams, drive requirements gathering, facilitate solution design, and support the successful delivery of complex programs across banking, financial services, and enterprise environments. This role requires excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, along with experience working in Agile and ITIL-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, business challenges, and operational requirements.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and validate solutions.
• Develop business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, process maps, and use cases.
• Facilitate requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business users, project managers, architects, development teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors.
• Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.

Delivery & Transformation Support

• Support large-scale technology transformation, modernization, migration, and platform upgrade initiatives.
• Analyze current-state processes and recommend improvements to optimise efficiency and business outcomes.
• Participate in project planning, solution assessments, impact analysis, and risk management activities.
• Assist with change management, release planning, and implementation activities.

Process Improvement & Governance

• Review and document business processes, identifying opportunities for automation and optimisation.
• Support governance frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across applications, infrastructure, and business operations.

Testing & Implementation

• Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities.
• Facilitate business acceptance criteria and ensure delivered solutions meet stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate defect resolution and implementation of readiness activities.

Required Skills & Experience Core Business Analysis Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst.
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience creating BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, workflows, and process maps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Delivery & Project Experience

• Experience supporting large enterprise transformation and modernization programs.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Experience working across cross-functional business and technology teams.
• Knowledge of project governance, risk management, and change management processes.

Stakeholder & Communication Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to engage with senior business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong facilitation, negotiation, and workshop management skills.

Technical Understanding

• Exposure to enterprise platforms, middleware technologies, data platforms, and infrastructure environments.
• Understanding of application lifecycle management, cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.

Preferred Experience

• Banking and Financial Services domain experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise application migration and modernisation programs.
• Knowledge of reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or data management platforms.
• Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline.
• Business Analysis certification (CBAP, ECBA, CCBA, or equivalent) desirable.
• Agile or Scrum certification advantageous.
