Associate Software Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern full-stack applications in a collaborative engineering environment. This early-career role is ideal for entry level candidates or professionals with up to three years of experience who are passionate about building scalable software solutions and leveraging AI-enabled tools throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will have experience with Java or Python, React, REST APIs, and modern software engineering practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications, including frontend and backend components. Develop backend services using Java, Python, or Node.js. Build responsive user interfaces using React and modern web technologies. Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices. Utilize AI-assisted development tools to support coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and other SDLC activities. Participate in system design discussions focused on scalability, performance, and reliability. Support production applications by troubleshooting issues and implementing effective solutions. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated build and deployment processes. Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Continuously learn and adopt emerging technologies, development tools, and AI-enabled engineering workflows. Maintain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 03 years of software development experience, including internships, academic projects, or professional experience. Programming experience with Java or Python. Familiarity with React or a similar modern frontend framework. Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design concepts. Experience developing or consuming RESTful APIs. Basic understanding of microservices architecture. Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases. Working knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, and integration testing practices. Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar tools for code generation, testing, debugging, and documentation. Basic understanding of prompt engineering, context management, and validating AI-generated output. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow within a collaborative engineering environment. Preferred Qualifications Internship or project experience developing full-stack applications. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). Familiarity with Docker or other containerization technologies. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. Exposure to application monitoring, debugging, and production support. Interest in AI-enabled software development workflows and modern engineering best practices. Education: Bachelors Degree
