Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Business Development Executive (BDE) - Logistics & TOS

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive (BDE) / Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong domain expertise in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Port Operations, or Terminal Operating Systems (TOS).

• This role is ideal for professionals who understand real-world logistics operations and can bridge the gap between business users and software development teams. You will work closely with product managers, business analysts, UI/UX designers, developers, and customers to build a next-generation Logistics ERP & Terminal Operating System. The platform covers end-to-end logistics operations including freight forwarding, terminal operations, finance, documentation, EDI, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from customers and stakeholders.
• Understand existing logistics workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
• Work closely with development and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct product demonstrations, requirement workshops, and client meetings.
• Validate delivered features against business expectations.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation.
• Prepare functional documentation, workflows, SOPs, and training materials.
• Stay updated with logistics industry regulations, trends, and best practices.
• Provide domain expertise during product design and decision-making.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in requirement gathering and business process mapping.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Experience working with ERP, TMS, WMS, or TOS solutions is preferred.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional technical teams.
