Direct In person Interview for Java Backend Developer in NYC, NY

Languages: Strong proficiency in Java 11/17+ (Streams, Lambdas, Collections, Multithreading/Concurrency).

Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, and Spring Security.

API Design: Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience integrating third-party services.

Databases: Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL). Familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB) is often required or preferred.

Tools: Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).

Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architecture.

Familiarity with caching solutions (Redis, Caffeine).

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).

Knowledge of gRPC or GraphQL.
