Job Overview

 

Our client is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design and implement enterprise-grade reporting, dashboards, and observability solutions in support of SDLC control frameworks. The ideal candidate will collaborate across engineering, security, compliance, and executive stakeholder teams to deliver scalable, automated reporting.

Key Responsibilities

 
  • Review and understand existing SDLC control framework, control definitions, and reporting requirements
  • Identify and document data sources required to measure each control
  • Design reporting architecture and data models supporting scalable SDLC control reporting
  • Build interactive dashboards and scorecards for engineering leadership, risk, compliance, and executive stakeholders
  • Develop automated reporting measuring control compliance, control effectiveness, and portfolio-level performance
  • Establish data quality validation and reconciliation processes
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, DevOps, platform, and governance teams to validate metrics
  • Document dashboard logic, metric definitions, data lineage, and reporting processes
  • Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to enable internal team maintenance

Required Skills

 
  • Observability stack: ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana
  • Python programming
  • Linux command-line proficiency
  • DevOps pipeline tools: XLR, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills
  • Experience integrating data from enterprise systems via APIs or ETL processes
  • Experience with SDLC, DevSecOps, or technology governance
  • Ability to translate compliance requirements into measurable KPIs and dashboards

Preferred Skills

 
  • Experience with software engineering metrics and engineering performance reporting
  • Strong stakeholder communication and requirements gathering skills
