The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders) to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks. • Safely move and position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics tasks. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is required for this position. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing ladders/stairs. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. • Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
