The Role • Planning and organizing optimal transport routes and methods to ensure efficient logistics chain management. • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, accepting orders, and providing expert advice on transport solutions. • Calculating costs, preparing competitive offers, and negotiating contracts. • Generating necessary freight, accompanying, and customs documents, and overseeing the smooth and timely execution of transports. • Actively monitoring transport progress, handling complaints and damage claims, and initiating appropriate actions. • Managing the accurate billing of services rendered and processing payments. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as a Clerk for Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services, Freight Forwarding Clerk, or a comparable qualification. • Previous experience in national and/or international freight forwarding/logistics is advantageous. • Proficiency with standard MS Office applications and ideally with freight forwarding software. • Excellent written and spoken German, with good English skills for international communication. • Strong customer service orientation, excellent organizational skills, and an independent, precise work approach.
