Develop software for bespoke machines and manufacturing systems using Siemens & Allen Bradley. Interact with customers to understand and meet technical requirements. Assess existing technologies and processes to enhance performance. Design and deliver top-tier automation solutions. Provide technical support to operations. Collaborate with a team and mentor junior engineers. Document projects and manage change control. Independently manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Take ownership of projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery. The Person: Third level qualification in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Computer Science, or equivalent. 5+ years of industry experience. Preferable experience with Rockwell Studio 5000, FT View, Ignition, Siemens TIA Portal/Step7, OSI PI Historian, VBA. Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 and GAMP is advantageous. Cisco Networking qualification and/or VMware or equivalent is a plus. Familiarity with robotics and safety standards is a bonus. Strong knowledge of automation principles and procedures.
