At the company, a Courseware Developer works within a group of dedicated training professionals to develop interactive eLearning content for our Defence and Security clients in Australia.

As a Courseware Developer, you will work as part of the production team comprised of other developers, multimedia specialists, quality assurance personnel, web developers, and subject matter experts to build a full range of learning products from one page job aids to full e learning courseware programs or interactive 3 D simulations.

Description

• Design and develop the company managed courseware and training materials in line with standardised product processes and product specifications
• Participate in review of training content to ensure adherence to development standards and requirements and implement feedback from the development team
• Adhere to delivery schedules and report any issues arising related to scope or schedule
• Collaborate with colleagues in sharing of expertise and the performance of similar or connected tasks

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience or qualifications in the development of computer based training
• Solid experience in training development, ideally within defence or aviation industries
• Experience with Learning Content Management Systems and authoring tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
• Ability to work to a hybrid arrangement, minimum 3 days in the office and 2 days flexible. Working out of the Head Office in Homebush, NSW.
• Ability to obtain/maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance - must be an Australian Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• Cert IV in Training and Assessment
• Demonstrated understanding of ADF training policies and procedures
