Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Salesforce Architect to join the Salesforce team. This role sits at the highest level of platform strategy and technical governance - spanning enterprise customization, integration architecture, data engineering, and AI-augmented delivery.

The ideal candidate combines deep platform expertise with the ability to:

• Lead cross-functional teams
• Shape long-term architecture direction
• Embed Generative AI and Agentic AI methodologies as a first-class practice in daily engineering workflows

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience
• 3+ years in a Salesforce Architect capacity
• Strong experience with:
• Apex
• LWC
• Flows
• SOQL/SOSL
• Platform events
• Salesforce platform internals
• Enterprise integration architecture experience:
• MuleSoft or equivalent middleware
• REST/SOAP APIs
• Event-driven architecture
• Middleware patterns
• Data engineering expertise:
• Data modeling
• ETL/ELT design
• Large-scale migrations
• Data quality governance
• Proven daily use of:
• Generative AI
• Agentic AI tools (with measurable productivity outcomes)
• DevOps & tooling:
• Salesforce DX
• Git
• CI/CD pipelines
• Multi-org DevOps tooling
• Salesforce Certifications:
• Application Architect or System Architect (Required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
• Integration Architecture Designer / Data Architecture Designer certifications
• Experience in regulated industries (utility, energy, infrastructure)
• Familiarity with:
• Salesforce Data Cloud
• Einstein Analytics
• Agentforce
• Field Service Lightning
• Experience with Agentic AI tools:
• Windsurf
• Devin or similar platforms

1. Platform Architecture & Customization

• Define and govern enterprise Salesforce architecture across:
• Sales Cloud
• Service Cloud
• Experience Cloud
• Custom applications
• Ensure scalability, security, and maintainability
• Lead advanced customization:
• Apex frameworks
• LWC component libraries
• Flow orchestration
• Event-driven architecture
• Enforce:
• Coding standards
• Design patterns
• DevOps best practices
• Drive architecture reviews and platform health assessments
• Own Salesforce roadmap aligned with business and AI strategy

2. Integration Engineering

• Architect integrations with enterprise systems:
• MuleSoft, SAP, GIS/ESRI, legacy systems
• Define:
• Integration contracts
• Error handling and resilience patterns
• Lead complex multi-system workflows:
• Case management
• Document handling
• Guide API strategies:
• REST/SOAP
• Platform Events
• CDC
• Collaborate with integration teams and architects

3. Data Engineering

• Own Salesforce data architecture:
• Data models
• Schema governance
• Master data management
• Lead:
• Legacy data migrations
• Transformation and validation frameworks
• Partner with enterprise data teams for:
• Data pipelines
• Data integrity
• Enforce:
• Data quality
• Deduplication
• Compliance-ready lineage
• Evaluate Data Cloud vs enterprise data platform strategies

4. Generative AI & Agentic AI Delivery

• Utilize Agentic AI tools for:
• Solution design
• Code generation
• Test automation
• Documentation
• Apply prompt engineering best practices
• Integrate:
• Salesforce Einstein AI
• Agentforce
• GenAI-powered automation
• Establish:
• AI governance
• Quality standards
• Measure AI-driven productivity improvements
• Contribute to AI-first delivery strategy and roadmap

5. Governance, Security & Compliance

• Manage:
• User access
• Permissions
• Profiles
• Org health
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Lead:
• Security architecture reviews
• Vulnerability assessments
• Govern:
• AppExchange usage
• Release management
• Change control
• Reduce technical debt and maintain platform health

6. Collaboration & Delivery Leadership

• Partner with:
• Business teams
• Product and IT leadership
• Translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Guide:
• Epics
• User stories
• Acceptance criteria
• Lead and mentor distributed teams
• Act as primary technical voice in Agile ceremonies
• Coordinate testing strategies and ensure quality benchmarks
