Job Description

We are seeking a versatile Business Analyst & QA Analyst to support both requirements analysis and quality assurance activities. This hybrid role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions are well-defined, thoroughly tested, and aligned with business goals.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, use cases, and functional specifications
  • Create process flows, wireframes, and documentation as needed
  • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and requirement clarification
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution
  • Review requirements and user stories to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria
  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans
  • Identify, log, and track defects through resolution
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards before release
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0 - 6 yrs of experience in a Business Analyst, QA Analyst, or hybrid BA/QA role
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
  • Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, or data validation
