Title: Senior Windows Systems Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer
Locations: Salem OR
Duration : 06 Months
Scope of Work:
The Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) is undertaking two major technology modernization initiatives: the Data Center Modernization (DCM) Project and the Mac to
Windows Transition Project. These projects establish the foundation for ODA's enterprise technology strategy by modernizing identity services, infrastructure, server environments,
endpoint management, and workstation platforms. ODA requires an experienced Systems Administrator to augment internal staff and provide technical expertise throughout these
initiatives while also assisting with operational support as needed.
III. Scope of Services
- Support the Data Center Modernization and Mac to Windows Transition projects.
- Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure, DNS, DHCP, and related infrastructure.
- Support Microsoft Intune, Group Policy, endpoint management, Windows imaging, workstation deployment, and device lifecycle management.
- Assist with server migrations, identity modernization, domain consolidation, and infrastructure modernization.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Participate in testing, pilot deployments, production implementations, and troubleshooting.
- Provide Tier III technical support and assist with day-to-day operational systems administration activities as assigned.
- Coordinate with ODA staff, project managers, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Perform other related systems administration duties necessary to support project and operational objectives.
- Deliverables
The Contractor shall provide:
- Professional systems administration services in accordance with this Statement of Work.
- A monthly status report summarizing work completed, significant accomplishments, issues or risks, and planned work for the following month.
- A monthly invoice reflecting approved hours worked during the reporting period.

- Communicate risks, issues, and dependencies promptly.
- Follow all applicable security and confidentiality requirements.
