Apparel Graphic Designer

Position: Apparel Graphic Designer

Type/Duration: Full time/Permanent
Location: New York City, NY (5 Days onsite in a week)

 

Required Qualifications:
 

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or related field
Years of experience designing character license apparel or other soft goods products for children

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office and PLM or other product management systems

They must have a portfolio showcasing their character license work for the children’s market

Years of experience in children’s apparel or licensed character products

Strong understanding of character licensing and working within brand guidelines

Highly trend- and color-focused with a strong sense of layout and typography

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator)

Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, in-office environment

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Basic understanding of apparel construction and production level graphic application processes
