Systems Engineer

Digit IT is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our growing team. Based in Toowoomba, you will play a key role in delivering our key service offerings: IT Support, IT Projects, IT Security, Managed Services, Cloud Services and Business Connectivity.

This is an intermediate role, suited to someone who has experience providing Level 1 - Level 2 Support within an MSP environment. Strong customer service and IT support skills are a must!

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote Level 1 - Level 2 technical support to our clients
• Monitor and maintain networks, servers and client devices
• Log and resolve tickets in our management system
• Create and maintain client documentation
• Perform onsite client visits for IT support, installations and IT projects

Skills & Experience

• Excellent oral, listening and written communication skills
• Experience in a Systems Engineer role
• Logical and methodical troubleshooting approach
• Strong knowledge of Windows servers
• Experience with Office 365 and Azure
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (Hyper V, VMware)
• Knowledge of networks (LAN, WAN, VPN and VLAN)
• Backup and recovery (Datto, Veeam, Acronis & StorageCraft)
• VOIP Telephony, 3CX systems
• Attention to detail and clear, accurate and concise documentation
• A valid driver's license
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
